What is Rise Wallet?
This website focuses on RISE WALLET 4.2.1.1, the supplied desktop project for Windows x64, Linux amd64 and macOS arm64. Its current packages are installer previews with a demonstration backend. The Aptos guides and wallet visuals describe research and product direction rather than a live wallet engine already implemented in the preview.
Which cryptocurrencies can I use with Rise?
The product direction is Aptos: APT and compatible Aptos assets. The current desktop demonstration backend does not implement balances, key custody or transfers. Asset support must be implemented and tested before a future wallet release can claim it; the asset guide explains the standards and identity checks.
Who controls my assets and recovery phrase?
Self-custody means users control signing keys in a completed wallet implementation. The current desktop setup preview has no recovery phrase or key-vault implementation. Never enter a real recovery phrase into this website, its diagnostic form or the installer preview. The recovery guide is educational context for future wallet functionality.
Is Rise compatible with current Aptos standards?
The current packages target Windows x64, Linux amd64 and macOS arm64. They provide an installer demonstration, not an implemented Aptos engine. Support for FA, DA, AIP-62 and live signing belongs to future development and verification. The report’s old app-store release dates do not describe the desktop project.
Why do I need APT to send another token?
APT normally pays the Aptos network fee even when you transfer another asset. Keep a small APT reserve for execution and storage costs. A transaction that is committed but aborts can still consume gas. Sponsored transactions must be explicitly supported; they should not be assumed.
Does transaction simulation guarantee a safe transaction?
No. Simulation previews execution against a recent network state. It can reveal expected balance changes and likely failures, but state, liquidity and prices can change. A simulation also depends on the wallet correctly interpreting the asset and contract effects.
